The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament should recommit the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re reinforcing parliamentary accountability of Deposit Guarantee Fund and counteracting corruption

The bill (Reg. No. 2403a) was elaborated in order to establish the mechanism of Verkhovna Rada control over the activity of the Fund by receiving an annual report on its activity and ensure responsibility of Fund’s officials for commitment of corruption offenses.

The Central Scientific and Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat expressed remarks to the bill.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the National Bank do not uphold the abovementioned bill.
